Goals
The goals of Project Hope’s community education and training efforts are to:
- Increase public awareness about the impact of domestic and sexual violence
- Promote community involvement
- Foster a multi-disciplinary systems approach to victims of domestic and sexual violence
- Challenge the prevailing attitudes and dispel the myths which perpetuate the problems of domestic and sexual violence
Project Hope offers free specialized training, workshops, and violence prevention programming to the general public, as well as professional groups and individuals in Charles City, King and Queen, King William, and New Kent counties.

Presentation topics include, but are not limited to:
- How to support a survivor of domestic and/or sexual violence
- Gender and Child Development
- Preventing Dating Violence and/or Sexual Violence Through Parenting
